- Uniform Kiln Drying: Slowly and methodically kiln drying our wood to a 6-9% moisture content is a critical step in insuring consistency in the stability of our floors. Some inexperienced suppliers choose to eliminate this important process.

- End-Matching: All of Mountain Lumber's precision milled flooring is end-matched. This extra step adds an accurately-squared end milled with a tongue and groove, allowing each board to be locked together for a smoother installation process.
