The Building Goodness Foundation is a non-profit organization that is run by skilled volunteers from the construction trades and the Charlottesville community. BGF builds clinics, schools, shelters, and other structures for communities in need. They build for the Charlottesville community, for impoverished and disaster-stricken areas such as the Gulf Coast, and in developing countries like Haiti and Honduras.
Mountain Lumber and BGF share many of the same core values:
Building projects that are generative and enduring
Making healthy and interconnected communities
Superior craftsmanship and design
Building professionals enrolled in our professional program can give back to the BGF with every purchase of a Mountain Lumber product. A percentage of all sales to those enrolled in our program will contribute directly to the Building Goodness Foundation.
